(a) The reason for initiating this application is to construct a new wheelchair elevator for the new
homewowner who is disabled. The construction of the elevator shaft and adjacent equipment
room would partial extend into the sideyard setback
(b) The neighboring area is composed of residences of varying sizes and styles The area is composed
of affluent homeowners that want to take advantage of the waterfront setting with all of the
amenities that this range of home requires.
(c) The project will be an addition to the existing residence which is two stones. The residence has
off-street enclosed packing for three cars. The home will be a total of 5,450 sf of living area plus
675 sf of garage area with the wheel chair elevator and equipment room of 32 sf
(d) The surrounding areas to the north, east and west consist of two-story single family residences
The waterfront (Midway Channel) is directly to the south, with similar residences across the
channel
(e) The project site is not located within a Hazardous Waste and Substance. site pursuant to Section
65962.5 of the Government Code.
