HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdministrative Permit APX2007004 - Project Description0 City of Huntington Beach Here is our daycare description Johnson Family Daycare MAR 0 6 2007 Before and after school daycare Monday thru Friday Maximum of 14 school age children Hours 7am-9 30am, 2-6pm School year, 7am-6pm Summer (8 maximum enrolled) 3 rotating aides to help with activities, homework, tutoring, snacks, and play supervision Goal To provide a safe home environment for school age children To create avenues for play, homework, and creativity To nurture solid moral values, responsibility and lifelong friendships To give parents peace of mind, knowing their child is safe and happy while they earn a living March 1, 2007 This letter is to notify you that Ruth E Johnson is proposing a Large Family Daycare (12-14 Max school age only, 7-9 30am /2-6pm school year and 7am-6pm summer, 3 rotating aides, 1800 sq ft interior w/ 12 dining chairs) at 8951 Bamford Drive, Huntington Beach, CA Pursuant to Section 241 24 of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the Neighborhood Notification process is required You may review the proposed plans at the Planning Department, 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA from 3/2/07 to 3/15/07 or contact the Planning Department at (714)536-5271, All comments must be submitted to the Planning Department prior to the expiration date for review of the proposal PLEASE BE ASSURED, that in our situation, Johnson Family Daycare has already been in existence for many years and this notification constitutes NO changes in the present size and/or operation of the daycare, none are desired We are simply complying with the City of Huntington Beach's new zoning requirements Under the provisions of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the action taken by the Director of Planning becomes final, unless appealed A person desiring to appeal the decision shall file a written notice of appeal with the Planning Department within ten calendar days of the date of the decision being appealed, and the basis for the appeal A filing fee shall also accompany the notice of appeal The appeal fee is $409 00 for a single-family dwelling property owner appealing the decision on his/her own property The appeal fee is $1063 00 for all other appeals The appeal period starts at the end of the 10-day review period If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at (714)963-1949 Sincerely, Ruth E Johnson Cc City of Huntington Beach Planning Department
