PROJECT LOCATION: 16456 Bolsa Chica Street, Huntington Beach DATE OF ACTION: August 8, 2005 The Planning Department of the City of Huntington Beach reviewed your request received and dated July 25, 2005 to allow a pilates studio at the subject site, pursuant to Section 211.04 of the Huntington Beach Zoning & Subdivision Ordinance. Your request was conditionally approved on August 8, 2005. Attached to this letter are the conditions of approval. Please submit this no- tice of action letter to the Departments of Planning and Building & Safety at the time of applica- tion for a Certificate of Occupancy and/or Building Permit Under the provisions of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the action taken by the Planning Department becomes final at the expiration of the ten-day appeal period A person desiring to appeal the decision shall file a written notice of appeal to the Secretary of the Planning Commission within ten calendar days of the date of the Planning Department's Admmistrative Approval N040-08 August 8, 2005 Page 2 of 3 • action. The notice of appeal shall include the name and address of the appellant, the decision being appealed, and the grounds for the appeal. A filing fee shall also accompany the notice of appeal. Hummel Family LLC Herb Fauland, Principal Planner 0 0 Administrative Approval No 05-08 August 8, 2005 Page 3 of 3 ATTACHMENT NO. 1 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ADMINSTRATIVE PERMIT NO. 05-08 The floor plan received and dated July 25, 2005, shall be the conceptually approved layout. INFORMATION ON SPECIFIC CODE RE UIREMENTS 1. The maximum number of students/trainees utilizing the facility at any time shall not exceed the number of parking spaces allocated to the building. Based on the occupied floor area (885 sq. ft.) and the applicable parking standard of one parking space per 200 square-feet, the number of parking spaces allocated is five (5). Therefore, the number of students/trainees shall not exceed five (5) during any training session. 2. The instructional area shall not exceed 75 percent of the total floor area occupied by the per- sonal enrichment use, or 663 square feet. 3. The applicant and/or applicant's representative shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all plans and information submitted to the City for review and approval. 4. Administrative Permit No. 05-08 shall not become effective until the ten-calendar day appeal period has elapsed. 5. Administrative Permit No. 05-08 shall become null and void unless exercised within one year of the date of final approval or such extension of time as may be granted by the Director pur- suant to a written request submitted to the Planning Department a minimum 30 days prior to the expiration date 6. The Planning Department reserves the right to revoke Administrative Permit No. 05-08, pur- suant to a public hearing for revocation, if any violation of these conditions or the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance or Municipal Code occurs. 7. The development shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Municipal Code, Build- ing Department, and Fire Department as well as applicable local, State and Federal Fire Codes, Ordinances, and standards, except as noted herein.
