The portion of the space for ballroom dancing is 2,500 sf max which means 12 5 spaces at a 1/200 ratio. From what I recall and from discussing with other planners who have worked on personal enrichment uses, we usually do not count the teacher towards the class size because in most cases there is only one teacher. However, with this ballroom dancing the applicant indicated that there is one teacher for every student. Because of this I told him that each dance class is limited to 12 persons and that we would count the teachers towards that maximum. Let me know if you disagree.
