Dear Dr. EI-Ahraf:
The City of Huntington Beach Planning Department has reviewed the extension of time
request dated June 4, 2009, on Administrative Permit No. 07-026 The Administrative
Permit was granted by the City to permit a 641 square foot second story accessory
dwelling unit in conjunction with a 660 square foot first floor addition to an existing single
family home The Planning Director approved your extension of time request on June 12,
2009.
Pursuant to the City's Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, Section 245 36, the extension
is granted for a one year period from the effective date of approval of the entitlement.
The Director approved the entitlement on January 8, 2008, and the entitlement became
effective on January 18, 2008. The entitlement was set to expire on January 18, 2009.
Thus, Administrative Permit No. 2007-026 has been extended and is valid through
January 18, 2010, with all previous conditions of approval to remain in effect.
Should another extension of time be necessary, please submit your written request to the
Planning Department along with the corresponding fee a minimum of 30 days prior to the
new expiration date. If you have any questions regarding this notice or about the status
