To the city of Huntington Beach:
This is a request of a business license for the Vibe Tribe Yoga & Wellness. The Vibe
Tribe will be located at 301 Main St. suite 109 in the city of Huntington Beach. This
suite has 2082 sq. ft. the yoga class will be 1000 sq. ft. the office/storage will be 200 sq.
ft. the remaining 882 sq ft. will be used as a retail space.
The Vibe Tribe will sell crystals, wind chimes, candles, music, self-improvement
books, clothes, jewelry, aromatherapy oils and yoga mats The business hours for the
retail section will be from 10:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, Saturday 10:00 a.m.-
6:00p m. Sunday 10:00a.m. -5.00 p.m The retail staff will consist of two part time
employees and one full time employee.
The yoga classroom will hold 5-7 people per class with the exception of our pre-
natal class; the pre-natal yoga instructor will work with 3-4 women giving full attention
to our expecting mothers. We will have approximately 10 yoga instructors under
contract.

Approximately 100' South of the southwest comer of
Main Street and Orange Ave. within the 301 Main
Street building (Plaza Almeria).
A request to permit the addition of Yoga and Self-
improvement instruction within the proposed retail
establishment, 301 Main Street, Suite # 107. The
building was approved with Conditional Use Permit
No. 90-39.
Zoning: The property is zoned Downtown Specific Plan,
District 5.
Site
History: Prior to the Vibe Tribe the suite was vacant.
Project
Description: The inclusion of Yoga classes is simply a personal
enrichment activity to supplement the sales of books,
cards, candles, clothing, etc., with a self-improvement
theme. The classes are proposed within 800 square
foot area of the 1897 square foot suite;
approximately 42% of the floor area will be devoted
to this activity of the business. Classes will be
offered during regular business hours approximately
10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. daily. Classes will
accommodate 5-8 people per session and we will also
offer pre-natal yoga instructors who will work with
3-4 women per session. Although the retail shop will
open at 10:00 a.m., a few special early Yoga classes
