On October 21, 2002, the City Council approved an Environmental Indemnification Agreement by and between the City, PLC and Chevron Land & Development Company (CL&D). As part of this agreement, the City consented to PLC transferring the park site to CL&D prior to conveyance of the park to the City (refer to Section 5.6 of the agreement).
