Dear Kevin:
On June 21, 2005, the Planning Department of the City of Huntington Beach reviewed your
application to establish a medical marijuana dispensary at the subject site and has denied your
request. Under the provisions of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance,
Section 212.04, L-13, C, the action taken by the Department of Planning is final with no ad-
ministrative appeal process.
Attached to this letter, is a memo from the City Attorney dated June 20, 2005, regarding estab-
lishment of medical marijuana dispensaries as they relate to local and federal law and the is-
suance of permits to allow medical marijuana dispensaries.
