ADMINISTRATIVE PERMIT APPLICATION NARRATIVE
a) The St Vincent de Paul Septemberfest Festival is a one-day event, September 27,
2008 that runs from 9.00 am to 8:30 pm. The event includes live entertainment,
games and food The event is managed and staffed by volunteers from the parish
The festival is held in the parking lot of the church.
b) The event equipment includes a stage and stage cover that necessitates the need
for a permit.
c) The church is located at 8345 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach. To the north and
west of the property is Good Shepard Cemetery. To the east is residential, to the
south residential and commercial (Wal Mart shopping center)
d) The festival serves the community as a whole; all are welcomed to join in this
event that is a fundraiser for the parish. The funds raised from this event support
the parish and its various ministries that support the community of Huntington
Beach
