NOTICE OF FILING STATUS
Application : INITIAL PLAN ZONING REVIEW NO. 2009-003 (MEADOWLARK
PARKING LOT RE-STRIPING)

Request : To permit the parking lot re-striping of the Meadowlark Plaza commercial
shopping center.
Location : 5171 Warner Avenue, 92649 (northwest corner of Warner Avenue and Airport
Circle - Meadowlark Plaza)
Dear Ms. Sahle:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Department has reviewed your entitlement
application received and dated July 20, 2009, and has determined the application to be
incomplete. The following information and/or corrections are requested in order for the Planning
Department to deem your application complete and continue the review process of your
application:
MINIMUM APPLICATION RE UIREMENTS:
1. A letter of authorization from Fitzpatrick Family Trust, the property owner of APN 146-
241-36, shall be required based on the fact that the parking lot re-striping is proposed
within the parcel held under separate property ownership as provided on the application.
Please note the application cannot be deemed complete without proper authorization from
all property owners. A copy of the Assessor's Parcel Map is attached for your review.
CODE RE UIREMENTS:
A review of the site plan received and dated July 20, 2009, indicate that the following items do
not comply with minimum zoning code requirements:
1. Parking lot striping shall comply with Diagram A, Section 231.14 of the HBZSO. A
copy of the diagram is attached for your review.

DESIGN RECOMMENDATIONS:
The following items are staff recommendations to improve the design of the project consistent
with the City's adopted Design Guidelines and/or design principles:
1. Provide the drive aisle widths in compliance with HBZSO Section 231.14.
2. Repaving and re-striping should incorporate the entire shopping center parking lot,
subject to approval from all property owners.
Please submit the above-noted information and/or corrections as soon as possible in order for the
Planning Department to continue the review process of your request. Please note, additional
comments and concerns may be generated upon receipt of the requested information. Also,
completion of the corrections and/or the submittal of the additional information does not presume
approval of the application requested.
