This letter is to notify you that Do Construction & Design Inc. is proposing to
construct a 650 sq. foot attached grandmother suite at 20061 Swansea Lane,
Huntington Beach, Ca. 92646. Hours of operation will be between 8am and 5pm
Monday thru Friday, two to six workers on site. Pursuant to Section 241.24 of
Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the Neighborhood
process is required. You may review the proposed plans at the Planning
Depa rtment, 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, Ca, from Janua ry 20th, 2009 to
February 2nd, 2009 or contact the Planning Depa rtment at (714) 536-5271. All
comments must be submitted to the Planning Department prior the expiration
date for review of the proposal.
Under the provisions of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance,
the action taken by the Director of Planning becomes final, unless appealed. A
person desiring to appeal the decision shall file a written notice of appeal with
the planning Depa rtment within ten calendar days of the date of the Planning
Department's action. The notice of appeal shall include the name and address
of the appellant, the decision being appealed, and the basis for the appeal. A
filing fee shall also accompany the notice of appeal. The appeal fee is $409.00
for a single-family dwelling property owner appealing the decision on his/her
own prope rty. The appeal fee is $1063.00 for all other appeals. The appeal
period starts at the end of the 10-day review period.
