RE: 210 18TH STREET -12 UNIT CONDO CONVERSION
Dear Planning Staff,
We are requesting the Planning Department Staff review our request
for Condo Conversion of a twelve (12) unit apartment building at the
above mentioned address.
My name is Dewey Davide; I own the above-mentioned property with
my partner Angelo Rinaldi. We have owned this property since 1989.
Mr. Rinaldi and myself have owned, developed and sold many
properties in the City of Huntington Beach over the past thirty- (30)
years. Currently we have four (4) single family residences in varying
stages of completion on 9th Street, with four (4) more pending plan
changes.
For years we have toyed with the idea of one-day converting this
unique apartment building into condos. Our building is especially
suited for condo conversion for the following reasons. 1.) We have
twenty-four (24) on site parking spaces. 2.) Each unit is spacious, as
the smallest is just less than 1100 square feet. It is very rare in
downtown Huntington Beach to find a building of that size boasting
two (2)-parking spaces per unit.
Our plan, if approved by the City Planning Department, would include
a complete renovation of each and every unit including all outside
