Our home is approximately 1,744 square feet consisting of three bedrooms. My wife and I have one child with a second expected this July. Our growing family will soon occupy all of our current bedrooms. As I am an independent IT consultant and my wife is a high school teacher , we both perform a significant portion of our daily work from home. This addition will allow us to maintain an office and live comfortably in our house as our family continues to expand. The request for the Waiver of Development Standards for lot coverage will allow the addition of pop-out features and a slight overhang on the addition such that it aesthetic improves the appearance of the addition, conforms with the rest of the property's design and that of the neighborhood. The current coverage is at 1,312 sq ft, or 46% of the 2,875 sq ft lot. The requested coverage is 1,532 sq ft, or 53% of the 2,875 sq ft. I ask that you kindly consider our proposed office addition.
