ANALYSIS Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, Title 9 Section 981l.8(c) states that lot line adjustment shall no. sever an existing structure. However, the facts in this case are that the lot line now in existence already severs the same building as is being 3 evered. The adjustment therefore does not create a new condition which the code section wishes to protect against x Therefore, this fact situation does not viol?te the code, l wculd suggest that a condition be added to the settlement that these two lots may not be sold without t he removal of the building which the lot line severs.
