Smith Members Absent: none Staff Present: Sergio Martinez D. LIMITED SIGN PERMIT NO. 91-10: Applicant: Kevin Stonoff Request: Review sign copy change. Location: 602 Pacific Coast Highway Action: C. Sergio Martinez, staff planner, displayed colored elevations and photographs of the site. The applicant is requesting a permit for the refacing of an existing wall cabinet sign with a limited time of two (2) years. The area is in process of rehabilitation by the Redevelopment Agency. The downtown guidelines requires channel letter to be used on all new signs installed on this area. Staff, because of the temporary nature of this sign and the greater cost involved on the installation of a new sign, recommended to the Board the approval of the request. DARYL SMITH MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE LIMITED SIGN PERMIT NO. 91-10 FOR A MAXIMUM TERM OF TWO (2) YEARS AS PROPOSED BY THE APPLICANT AND PRESENTED BY STAFF.
