Whaain To permit the use of an``exis,ting building as a retail store and professional office pursuant to S. 9451 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code 10cated on the east side of Main St. approximately 120 ft. south of Olive Ave. in a C3 community business district. Mr. Whaling, the applic;)ant, Mrs. Whaling, his wife, and the prospective tenant for' the building were present and addressed the Board. Mr. Carl Duncan, Fire Marshal, stated that the applicant should request structural inspection since the building's structural stability was in question. He further stated; that the applicant should determine if the building can be repaired or renovated. Board discussion followed.
