CONSTRUCTION OF SLATER TRU INE SEWER - COUNCIL CONCURREiy RANTED
The City Clerk presented a communication from the Orange County $anitatior D tstricts
requesting the concurrence of Council relative to the alignment of the Slater Avenue
Trunk Sewer for County Sanitation District #11. This item had been deferred from the i
November 5, 1973 meeting so that questions raised by the Environmental Review Board
might be answered. A communication from the Environmental Council, with attachments
from the Orange County Sanitation Districts and Keith & Associates was presented to
Council.
On ;notion by Green, Council concurred with the request of the County Sanitation Dis-
trict for the location of the Slater Avenue Trunk Sewer for Orange County ``sanitation
District 011 in accordance with Section 47951 of the California Health and ,Safety Code
The motion was passed by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen : Shipley , Green, Coen , Matney
NOES: Councilmen, Norte
ABSENT: Councilmen : Bartlett , Gibbs, Duke
RE NEST FOR RECOGNITION - COMMUNITY SERVICES COUNCIL - DEFERRED 1 7/74 - (CA 73-131)
The City Administrator recommended that the request for recognition by the Community
Services Council be deferred to the January 7, 1974 meeting pending a meeting between
their group and the United Crusade.
On motion by Green, Council approved the recommendation of the City Administrator and
directed that the request for recognition by the Community Services Council b e deferrer
to thetJanuary 7, 1974 meeting by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Shipley, Green, Coen, Matney
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT': Councilmen: Bartlett, Gibbs, Duke
SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY PURSUANT TO RES NO 3697 - APPROVED
The-City Administrator addressed Council regarding the following Parcel of property
which had been declared surplus by Resolution No. 3697 adopted J,--e 4, 1973 and on
which an Exemption Declaration had been adopted by Council on October 1, 1973:r ,!Parcel 2 - Lots 1-9 inclusive - Block 813 of HB Tract -

The City Administrator informed Council that this property had been advertised for
bid on October 15, 1973, however no bids had been received and the Council had author-
1z ed the City Administrator to readvertise the parcel at the time which would be
most advantageous to the City. He stated that an offer to purchase the property for,
an amount of $60,000 had been received from Mr. B. G. Williams and that he would
recommend the acceptance of this bid.
Mr. Floyd Belsito, Executive Assistant, addressed Council regarding the bid"proposal.'
On motion by Shipley, Council accepted the offer of $60,000 submitted by Mr. $, G.
Williams for Parcel 2 Lots 1-9 inclusive Block 813 of HB Tract - Wesley,Park Sec-

To permit the construction of four (4) family dwellings pursuant to
Res. No. 3697 and at the request of the City Council located on the
southwest corner of Main Street and 14th Street in an R-1, low
density residential district.
Mr. Williams, the applicant, was present.
The Chairman informed the Board that this application is a
categorical exemption, class 3, California Environmental Quality
Act, 1970.

To permit the construction of an industrial building pursua

Messrs . illard & John Schultz, representing the plicant, were
present.
