Dear Tenant,
This letter is to notify you that CrossFit Surf City is proposing to expand its business into
the next door unit (300) at 18421 Gothard St. Suite 200. Huntington Beach, CA PUrsuant to
SEction 241.24 of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the Neighborhood
Notification is required. You may review the proposal plan at the Planning Department, 2000
Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA from September 5th to September 15th, or contact the
Planning Department at (714) 536-5271. All comments must be submitted to the Planning
Department prior to the expiration date for review of the proposal.
Under the provisions of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the action
taken by the Director of Planning becomes final, unless appealed. A person desiring to appeal
the decision shall file a written notice of appeal with Planning Department within ten calendar
days of the date of the Planning Department's action. The notice of appeal shall include the
name and address of the appellant, the decision being appealed, and the basis for the appeal.
A filing fee shall also accompany the notice of appeal. The appeal fee is $494.00. The appeal
period starts at the end of the 10-days review period.

Dear Committee,
I am proposing to take over one more unit in the building I currently occupy. I currently do
personal training and I would like to use the next unit to do the same. The proposed unit is 2624
sqft and my current unit is 2624 sqft totalling 5,248sqft. My proposed hours of operation are
Monday-Friday 5am-10am in the morning and 5pm-9pm at night. I currently staff 1 employee
and 3 independent trainers.
The surrounding areas have the following
South: Auto services
North: Light Industrial
West: Light Industrial
East: Light Industrial
We plan on servicing the residents in the surrounding area within a 5 mile radius.
