Kumon is a different kind of after-school learning program designed to help children master the basics of math and reading. It gives them the skills and confidence to succeed in school ... and beyond. Kumon is essentially a home study program where children come to the Kumon center twice a week for around twenty minutes each time. As a franchisor, Kumon North America, Inc. has requested that the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Huntington Harbour move to a commercial space to conform with their new guidelines for operating a Kumon center.
