Current and Proposed Utilization of Campus
A. Schedule of Activities to Remain Largely Unchanged
Our plan and expectation is that our schedule of activities in our enhanced campus will remain
the same as our existing schedule. Only the locations of the activities will change.
We presently rent space on the third floor of the Cornerstone Building, an adjacent three-story
office building to the east, located at 19891 Beach Boulevard, but we are losing access to this
space due to development anticipated by the (new) property owners. Our current utilization of
that third floor is for offices, adult classrooms and conference rooms, and one larger room for
receptions. Our two proposed new buildings are intended to replace this space we are losing.
We also will lose our modular unit we call The Hut. This is currently utilized by our high school
ministries and an occasional gathering of adults, e.g. football game watch party. This lost space
will also be replaced by our new construction, particularly by the two-story office building.
• The new two-story office building will accommodate all our church offices, five
classrooms / conference rooms for adults and youth (high school and junior high), and
three preschool classrooms.
The multi-purpose building will replace the "larger room for receptions" which we have
utilized in the Cornerstone Building. On Sunday mornings this space is also used for an
adult Sunday School class during the Sunday School hour, being presently attended by an
average of 45 people. It will remain unoccupied during the worship assembly time. We
anticipate using it also for receptions and banquets, which again would never be held
concurrently with assemblies in the main worship center.
B. Current Schedule of Activities
The following table shows our current schedule of activities. It includes the use of two buildings
which will not be a part of our new campus: The Hut (a modular unit to be demolished or
removed from the premises to provide adequate parking) and the Cornerstone Building (the
adjacent office building located at 19891 Beach Boulevard, to which we are losing access). Our
highest capacity needs occur on Sunday. As can be seen from our schedule below, the church
meets for worship at 9:00 a.m., utilizing the worship center of our main building. When church
dismisses, all attendees either proceed to Sunday School or they leave the campus. During the
worship service, the rest of the campus is unoccupied, except for the nursery.

Project Narrative
•
This entire construction project has been made necessary by the anticipated loss of our existing
space in the Cornerstone Building. This affects the manner in which the project will be
conducted because we also need to provide essentially the same usable space during
construction. For this reason we propose to maintain the use of The Hut during construction,
even though it will not be apart of the proposed "new" campus. The project is expected to
proceed along the following lines.
• Move our offices into The Hut (prior to the beginning of construction)
• Demolish the three preschool classrooms that extend to the east of the main building
• On that site and extending to the east, construct the new two-story Office Building. This
building will include the replacement of those three demolished preschool classrooms,
office space, adult and youth classrooms / conference rooms, and attached storage on the
north side of two of the three preschool classrooms.
• Upon completion of this first building, we anticipate taking occupancy prior to the start
of construction of the second building.
• Remove The Hut to provide additional parking
• Construct the Multi-Purpose Building
• Begin utilization of the Multi-Purpose Building
Available Parking, Now and Proposed
The church currently has available parking in three areas: (1) the main campus at 1912 Florida
Street, (2) the adjacent property to the east at 19891 Beach Blvd., and (3) a separate parcel to the
south of our main property, owned by the church, at 1800 Florida Street. The parking needs for
our property do not require the use of the property at 19891 Beach Blvd., but since there is a
reciprocal parking agreement in place, we currently use some of that space for convenience. A
diagram of the south parking lot appears below, showing it in its existing form, with striping.
We do not propose to alter the layout of this lot.
A. Parking Currently Available
1912 Florida Street - 72 spaces (including 4 HC)
1800 Florida Street - 115 spaces
19891 Beach Blvd. - 156 spaces (not required by code, but currently used in part)

B. Parking Available with New Campus
• 1912 Florida Street - 40 spaces (including 4 HC)
• 1800 Florida Street -115 spaces (see diagram below)
C. Proximity of 1800 Florida Street Parking to Main Campus
The distance from the south parking lot at 1800 Florida Street to the main campus at 1912
Florida is 208 feet. There is no Handicap parking in this lot, as that is provided on the main
campus.
