You are receiving this Notice of Public Hearing because you own property, are a resident,
or conduct business within close proximity of the item checked below. The Zoning

Room B-8, Lower Level, City Hall, 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, the Zoning
Administrator will hold a public hearing on the following items:
01. TEMPORARY USE PERMIT NO. 12-06 ST. BONAVENTURE CHURCH FESTIVAL :
Applicant: Linda Garofalo, St. Bonaventure Pro e Owner: Roman Catholic Bishop
of Orange Request : To permit an annual festival for three consecutive days during the
month of October for a five year period (2012-2016). The event will include live
entertainment, food and alcohol sales, crafts, games, and carnival rides. Location:

3. COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 12-08 NGUYEN THREE-UNIT
DEVELOPMENT : Applicant: Mark Blumer, Crane Architectural Group Property
Owner: Kim Nguyen Request: CDP: To permit the construction of an approximately
4,192 sq. ft., two-story detached residential building containing two (2) residential units
on a site with an existing single family residence. The new building will include three
attached, two-car garages measuring approximately 1,231 sq. ft. and two new one-
bedroom units measuring approximately 667 sq. ft. on the second floor. AP: To permit a
waiver of development standards to permit a total lot coverage of 54% in lieu of a
maximum 50% permitted for an addition to an existing single family residence and

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Items # 1, 2, and 3 are categorically exempt from the
provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Item # 3 is located in the non-appealable jurisdiction of the
Coastal Zone, and includes Administrative Permit No. 12-08, filed on August 1, 2012, in
conjunction with the above request. The Coastal Development Permit hearing consists of a
public hearing, Zoning Administrator discussion and action. The Zoning Administrator's action
may be appealed to the Planning Commission within 10 working days.
