Nautical North H.O.A.
Marigayle Circle - Street Abandonment
General Plan Conformity
1/12/2011
1. Pro'ect Descri tion
The proposal is to erect privacy gates at street entrance gates which necessitates the
vacation of Marigale Circle.
2. Vicinity Map
See attached.
3. Location
The project is located in the Nautical North Tract 15690, Marigayle Circle, Edwards Street
and Ellis Avenue.
4. Pur ose of Pro'ect
The street configuration in which Ellis Avenue is off-set to Marigalye Circle increases
and misdirects traffic into the cul-de-sac. Installing privacy / entry gates would eliminate
unnecessary traffic which is a safety concern and a nuisance.
5. Extent of Pro'ect
The vacation of Marigayle Circle and the installation of privacy / entry gates would
improve safety and security to the eight homeowner's families that adjoin the cul-de-sac.
No other streets or homes connect to Marigayle Circle. The entitlement processing is
estimated to take two years and cost the Homeowners is $50,000. The privacy gates
and hardscape construction cost is estimated at $150,000 and will take four months.
6. Environmental Status
Preliminary plans have been submitted to Public Works for preliminary review and routed
for department comments.
