NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR
You are receiving this Notice of Public Hearing because you either own property, are a resident, or conduct business
within close proximity of the item checked below. The Zoning Administrator Public Hearing is scheduled for:

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to attend said hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or
against the application as outlined below. A copy of the application is on file in the Planning Department, 2000 Main
Street, Huntington Beach , California 92648, for review by the public. If you challenge the Zoning Administrator's
action in court , you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City at, or prior to, the public hearing. If
there are any further questions please call the Planning Department at 536-5271 and refer to the application below.
1. COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO . 99-05 ATERFRONT WETLANDS :
Applicant: The Robert L. Mayer Trust Request: To enable the filling of approximately 0.8
acres of isolated, degraded wetland area. Location: Northwest corner of Pacific Coast Highway

Environmental Quality Act.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Coastal Development Permit hearing consists ofa public hearing, Zoning
Administrator discussion and action. The Zoning Administrator's action may be appealed to the Planning
Commission within 10 days accompanied by an appeal fee set by City Council resolution. Item #1 may be appealed
to the Coastal Commission, South Coast Area Office, 200 Oceangate, I Oth Floor, Long Beach, CA 90802-4302,
after exhaustion of city appeals or if Title 14, Section 13573 of the California Administrative Code is applicable.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that initial environmental assessments for the above items were processed and
completed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act. It was determined that Item #1 is covered
by SEIR No. 82-2 and SEIR 82-2 addendum. These environmental assessments are on file at the City of Huntington
Beach Planning Department, 2000 Main Street, and are available for public inspection and comment by contacting
the Planning Department, or by telephoning (714) 536-5271.
