HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdministrative Permit APX2013010 - Project DescriptionDAVE ODDO 815 Main Street Huntington Beach, CA 92648 April 18, 2013 Huntington Beach Director of Planning RECEIVED MAY 33 2013 Dept, of Planning & Building Re: Administrative Permit for 1505 Palm Avenue Director: Pursuant to requirements attached to the application to the Director of Planning for an Administrative Permit I submit the following: I propose to construct an addition to my existing Triplex so that I can expand my smallest unit over an existing deck in need of repair. This property, due to its location and economy has changed hands with minimum upgrades. I propose to upgrade the units inside and out and add this addition that would make it much more feasible in the long run. As noted in the enclosed photos, the neighborhood view from the alley and Palm Avenue will be beautified. This beautification will maximize the use today and be beneficial to the neighborhood. Finally, by allowing the permit, it will allow for a more appealing structure and better use of an existing structure. My triplex is 2 stories versus 3 on two lots and thereby not maximizing lot coverage or mass. Without this permit, I cannot build the addition to accommodate the additional square footage.
