Review and provide compliance with Title 17 of the City of Huntington Beach Municipal Code, Building and Construction. In addition to a l l o f t h e c o d e r e q u i r e m e n t s o f t h e 2 0 1 3 C a l i f o r n i a G r e e n B u i l d i n g S t a n d a r d s C o d e , specifically address Construction Waste Management per Sections 4.408.2, 4.408.3, 4.408.4, 5.408.1.1, 5.408.1.2, and 5.408.1.3 and Building Maintenance and Operation, Section 5.410. Prior to the i s s u a n c e o f a b u i l d i n g p e r m i t t h e p e r m i t e e w i l l b e r e q u i r e d t o d e s c r i b e h o w t h e y w i l l c o m p l y with the sections described above. Prior to Building Final A p p r o v a l , t h e c i t y w i l l r e q u i r e a W a s t e Diversion Report per Sections 4.408.5 and 5.408.1.4. The City of Huntington Beach has adopted the 2 0 1 3 C a l i f o r n i a G r e e n B u i l d i n g S t a n d a r d s C o d e Appendices f o r E l e c t r i c V e h i c l e C h a r g i n g . T h i s a d o p t e d C o d e m a y b e f o u n d i n t h e H u n t i n g t o n Beach Municipal Code under; Chapter 17.06.030 R e s i d e n t i a l E l e c t r i c V e h i c l e ( E V ) C h a r g i n g a n d 17.06.040 Non-Residential Electrical Vehicle (EV) C h a r g i n g . III. COMMENTS: Planning and Building Department encourage the use of pre-submittal building plan che c k meetings. Separate B u i l d i n g , M e c h a n i c a l , E l e c t r i c a l a n d P l u m b i n g P e r m i t s w i l l b e r e q u i r e d f o r a l l e x t e r i o r accessory elements of the proje c t , i n c l u d i n g b u t n o t l i m i t e d t o : f i r e p l a c e s , f o u n t a i n s , s c u l p t u r e s , light poles, walls and fences ov e r 4 2 " h i g h , r e t a i n i n g w a l l s o v e r 2 ' h i g h , d e t a c h e d t r e l l i s e s / p a t i o covers, gas piping, water serv i c e , b a c k f l o w a n t i - s i p h o n , e l e c t r i c a l , m e t e r p e d e s t a l s / e l e c t r i c a l panels, swimming pools, storage racks for industrial/commercial projects. It will be t h e d e s i g n professional in charge, responsibility to coordinate and submit the documents fo r t h e w o r k described above. Provide on all plan submittals for building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing p e r m i t s , t h e Conditions of Approval and Code Requirements that are associated with the project through the entitlement process.
