4. Provideelevationsforanyfaçadeimprovements.
DESIGNRECOMMENDATIONS:
The followingitemsare staffrecommendationsto improvethe designof theprojectconsistent
withtheCityofHuntingtonBeachDesignGuidelines(Chapter2):
1. Exterior materials and architecturaldetails in the outdoor dining area and the
restaurantshouldcomplementeachotherandshouldbestylisticallyconsistent.
Uponreceiptofthisletter,thePlanningandBuildingDepartmentprovidesanopportunityforthe
applicantto seekclarificationora "SecondOpinion"oftheissuesorrequirementslistedherein.
The departmentoffersanOmbudsman/SecondOpinionServicespersonthatyoumaycontactto
discusstheseissues. PleasecontactJaneJamesat (714)536-5596if youwouldliketo pursue
this service.
Also, the departmentencouragesyou to schedulean appointmentwith your assignedproject
plannerwhenyou are readyto re-submtplans/drawings.This serviceis providedto helpyou
understandthe minimumrequirementsof your applicationand to work toward deemingthe
applicationcomplete. Thismeetingis to ensureyouaddressalltheissuescontainedwithin this
letterandto helpstreamlinetheprocesssothatyourapplicationis scheduledin a timelymatter.
