Present at the meeting were Gail Brice, Carrol Wolf, Aurea Hoad and Tim McCormack. Following are the LCP comments after review: No site plan for the proposed new building Air Conditioning units and Elevator Mechanical equipment are not shown on the plans. 0 This is a continuing concern because air conditioning units pop up on the roof above the 35 ’ height restriction after the fact. The deck rail height is not specified. The chimney flu structure is larger than 2’x2’ — which is the maximum allowed under the Sunset Beach LCP. More detail on demolition work is requested to maintain the safety of nearby residences. There is no designated trashcan location. 0 All cans are required to be out of view, behind fences. The dimensions are missing for the floor structure/ceiling height to top of roof on the elevation plans. (Math on the floor structures between stories does not seem to add up.) All comments must be submitted to the Community Development Department prior to 5:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2016. Under the provisions of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the action taken by the Community Development Department becomes final, unless appealed. A person desiring to appeal the decision shall file a written notice of appeal with the Community Development Department within ten calendar days of the date of the department’s action. The notice of appeal shall include the name and address of the appellant, the decision being appealed, and the basis for the appeal. A filing fee shall also accompany the notice of appeal. The appeal fee is $494.00. The appeal period starts at the end of the 10-day review period.
