Pacific Avenue Sunset Beach, CA This project consists of a new two-story, single—family residence with a two—car garage, covered patio and second floor balcony. It is approximately 3,900 square feet of living area and 411 square feet of garage space. The maximum height of the structure from the street flow line is 30'—9". The neighboring parcels are also single-family residences and the area is zoned for housing. The street is one-way in direction with beach parking dividing the street access. The architect has taken into consideration the adjoining properties and window locations for compliance to the City of Huntington Beach Infill Standards. The neighboring property at 17001 S. Pacific Avenue was recently remodeled by the same architect and is owned by the brother of-this owner. The first floor sliding door unit and its relationship to our proposed covered area was a desired design and function. It is understood that currently the foundation design and engineering is to be on concrete piles and the City of Huntington Beach is currently reviewing this detail with a Zoning Amendment.
