Vans BMX Invitational
Sound Permit Overview
A professional BMX contest at the Vans Off the Wall Skatepark in Huntington Beach, CA on
March 25 from 10 am -8 pm, The event will feature top amateurs and pros from all over the
world and will be featured on highlight clips distributed through social media and Vans retail
accounts.
Music:
A variety of music will be played as background during the contest. Music will include various
genres including classic rock, alternative and hip hop. Music will play during warm ups and
competition (approximately 10 am — 6 pm)--
D]:
A staff DJ will play music and be available at all times to make adjustments as needed.
PA:
2 announcers will call the action, make informational announcements and interact with
athletes.
Sound System: -
As indicated on the site plan, speakers will be directed away from residents. Additionally, the
sound hub will be located in the judge's structure and staffed at all times.
