The Clerk presented a transmittal from Land Acquisition Service, Inc .
of a grant deed covering Lets 33, 41 & 42 in Block B of Tract 196
from A. E. Arnold, et al, to the City, for a proposed Fire Station
site, at a cost to the City of $1237.50.
On motion by Stewart, seconded by Welch, Council accepted the deed
and authorized the Clerk to return it to Land Acquisition Service
for recording; and authorized the payment to the grantors, A. E.
Arnold, et al, in the amount of $1237.50, when approved by Land
Acquisition Service. Motion carried.
On motion by ,.= seconded by Larsbert the regular

Gentlemen:
Transmitted herewith for acceptance by the City of Huntington
Beach is Grant Deed, LAS-280, dated July 8th, 1963 , executed
by A.E. Arnold, et al, owners of the property.
This deed was executed in consideration of the sum of $1,237.50
as set forth in the letter of transmittal attached to said deed,
to be paid to the owners as payment for the parcel for a proposed
fire station site to the City of Huntington Beach.
Accordingly, it is recommended that the City of Huntington. Beach
accept said grant deed, and authorize payment of the amount as
set forth in said letter of transmittal, to the owners; payment to
be delayed pending receipt of notice from this office that payment
may be made.
It is suggested that the grant deed be approved as to description,
and, if required, the City's approval of the letter o.f transmittal
from the grantors.
Enclosed is a stamped self-addressed envelope for the return of
the deed to this office for recordation.

We hand you herewith Grant Deed, dated "�� � , 1963,
executed by the undersigned, covering the property particularly
described therein.
You are authorized to accept and record the attached Grant Deed upon
the following express condition:
1. That the City of Huntington Beach shall pay the
