Councilmen Present: Gisler, Stewart, Belch, Lambert Councilmen Absent: Wells The Clerk presented a transmittal, from Land Acquisition Service, Inc. of a grant deed cover- ing Parcel Nos. A-38 and A-39 in the N urdy Park site, from Nola Marie Romano to the City, at a cost to the City of $900#00. On motion by Welch, seconded by Stewart, Council accepted the deed and authorized the Clerk to return it to Land Acquisition Service for recording; and autlorized payment to the grantor in the amount of $900.00, when approved b;, Land Acquisition Service. Gentlemen: Transmitted herewith for acceptance by the City of Huntington Beach is Grant Deed, Parcel No.A-38 & 39, dated March 18th, 1964, executed by Nola Marie Romano, owner of the property. This deed was executed in consideration of the sum of $900.00, as set forth in the letter of transmittal attached to said deed, to be paid to the owner as payment for the parcel for park purposes to the City of Huntington Beach. Accordingly, it is recommended that the City of Huntington Beach accept said grant deed, and authorize payment of the amount as set forth in said letter of transmittal, to the owner; payment to be delayed pending receipt of notice from this office that payment may be made. It is suggested that the grant deed be approved as to description; and, if required, the Cityts approval of the letter of transmittal from the grantor.
