Councilmen Present: Councilmen Absent: The Clerk presented a transmittal from the Land Acquisition Service, Inc. of a deed covering Parcel No. B-57 in the Murdy Park Site, from Richard M. Kemp, Helen Louise Kemp, and Willis M. Kemp, Jr. to the City, at a cost to the City of $430.00. On motion by Stewart, seconded by Gisler, Council accepted the deed from Richard M. Kemp, Helen Louise Kemp and Willis M. Kemp, Jr, and authorised the Clerk to return it to Land Acquisition Service for recording; and authorized payment to the grantors in the total amount of $450.00, when approved by, Land Acquisition Service. Motion carried. On motion by Lambert seconded by _Qisler the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach adjourned. Motion carried. Dear Sir: Transmitted herewith for acceptance by the City of Huntington Beach is Quitclaim Deed, Parcel No.B-57, dated April 23rd, 1964, executed by Richard M. Kemp, Helen Louise Kemp, and Willie M, Kemp, Jr. , owners of property. This deed was executed in consideration of the sum of $450.00 as set forth in said Quitclaim Deed, to be paid to the owners as payment for the parcel for park purposes. Accordingly, it is recommended that the City of Huntington Beach accept said Quitclaim Deed, and authorize payment of the amount set forth therein, to the owners; payment to be delayed pending receipt of notice from this office that payment may be made. The enclosed Stipulation for Dismissal, signed by the above owners, is submitted for your use. .Also enclosed is a stamped self-addressed envelope for the return of the deed to this office for recordation.
