"MINUTES
Council Chamber, City Hall
Huntington Beach, California
Monday# May 18, 1964
Mayor Shipley called the regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach to order at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Councilmen Present: welch, Gisler. Lambert, Shipley
Councilmen Absent: Stewart
The Clerk presented a �raensmittal from Land Acquisition service, Inc. of a
Quitclaim Deed covering Parcels B-105� '8h106 and B.P107 In the B the �srdyPark Site,,from Ruth K. Drumright; HarryM. and st er D. Teeple, an Dorothy ppa ,
to the City, at a cost of $ 650.00.
On motion by welch, seconded by Lambert, Council accepted the deed and autho-
rised the Clerk to return it to Land Acquisition Service for recording; and
authorized the payment to the grantors* in they total amount of $1630.00, when
approved by Land Acquisition Service. Motion carried.
On motion by Gisler seconded by Lambert the regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach adjourned. Motion carried.

Gentlemen:
Transmitted herewith for acceptance by the City of Huntington
Beach is Quitclaim Deed dated .April 30, 1964 executed by Ruth
K. Drumright, Harry M. Teeple, Esther D. Teeple and Dorothy B.
Shippam, owners of the property.
This deed was executed in consideration of the sum of $1,650.00
to be paid to the owners as payment for the parcels for park
purposes to the City of Huntington Beach.
Accordingly, it is recommended that the City of Huntington
Beach accept said Quitclaim Deed, and authorize payment of the
amount above stated to the owners; payment to be delayed pending
receipt of notice from this office that payment may be made.
It is suggested that the Quitclaim Deed be approved as to des-
cription.
Enclosed is a stamped self-addressed envelope for the return
of the deed to this office for recordation.
