EASEMENT DEED C4 J. WYLIE CARLYLE, County Recorder
STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation, hereinafter called
"Grantor", hereby grants to THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, hereinafter called
"Grantee", upon the limitation hereinafter set forth, an easement for a public
street over that certain real property in the County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Those portions of Section 3 and Section 10, Township 6 South,
Range 11 West, in Rancho IAs Bolsas, as said sections are shown
on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 14, of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the northwesterlyr
prolongation of the southwesterly line of Acacia Avenue,
60 feet wide, with the northwesterly line of Twenty-third
Street, 90 feet wide, as shown on a map of Huntington Beach
Seventeenth Street Section recorded in Book 4, Page 10, of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County; thence continuing northwesterly along said
northwesterly prolongation of said southwesterly lane of
Acacia Avenue, 15 feet; thence southwesterly parallel with
said northwesterly line of Twenty-third Street, 760 feet to
the northwesterly prolongation of the northeasterly line of
Orange Avenue, 75 feet wide, as shown on said map of Huntington
� . Beach Seventeenth Street Section; thence southeasterly along
the prolongation of said northeasterly line of Orange Avenue,
15 feet to said northwesterly line of said Twenty-third Street;
thence northeasterly along said northwesterly, line of Twenty.-
third Street, 760 feet to the point of beginning.
Excepting and reserving unto Grantor, its successors and assigns for
its and their benefit and the benefit of its and their present and future
subsidiaries and their respective successors and assigns, the right at any
time and from time to time, and at any place or places, to lay, construct,
reconstruct, replace, renew, repair, maintain, operate, change the size of,
` increase the number of and remove pipelines, and appurtenances. thereof, for
the transportation of oil, petroleum, gas, gasoline, water or other substances,

DEED CERTIFICATION
This is to certify that the interest in real property conveyed by
the deed dated September 24, 1968
from, Standard Oil Company of California
to the C.'Ofty of Huntington Beach, a municipal corporation, is hereby
accepted, by the, undersigned officer or agent on behalf of the City
Council of the City of Huntkngton Beach pursuant to the authority
con-J.'errind by resolution of the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach adopted or, june 3, 1968, and the grantee consents to the
recordation thereof by its duly authorized officer.

and to construct, maintain, operate, repair, renew, add to and remove underground
wires, conductors, cables and conduits, and appurtenances thereof, over, under,
along and across said parcel (but in such manner as not to interfere unnecessarily
with the use of said easement for road purposes); and Grantee expressly covenants
that the rights so reserved may be so exercised during all the time said ease-
ment is used as a public street, subject only to reasonable regulation by the
proper authorities.
This grant of easement is given and made for so long as said real
property shall be used continuously for a public street and said easement shall
terminate without further act by Grantor or its successors and assigns, upon
the cessation of such use for a period of six (6) months.
This grant of easement is given subject to all valid and existing
licenses, leases, grants, exceptions and reservations affecting said premises,
but more particularly subject to the exceptions, reservations, limitations and
covenants hereinbefore made, and each of them.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Grantor has executed this grant of easement this

Standard Oil Company of California, a Delaware corporation, known to me to be the
person who executed the within instrument on behalf of such corporation and he
acknowledged to me that such corporation executed the same, and also known to me to
be the person whose name is subscribed to the within instrument as the Manager, Real
Estate and Right of Way, Land Department, Standard Oil Company of California,
Western Operations, Inc., a Division of said corporation, and he acknowledged to me
that he subscribed the name of said Standard Oil Company of California thereto as
principal and his own name as said Manager.
