OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISI-
TION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTYFROM STANDARD-
PACIFIC CORPORATION
WHEREAS , it is in the best interests of the City of Hun-
tington Beach to acquire certain real property for community

park facilities; and

Standard-Pacific Corporation desires to sell, and the
City of Huntington .Beach desires to buy, 2 .6 acres , generally
located in the Adams-Newland area, and more specifically de

scribed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach as follows :
1. That it does hereby agree to buy from Standard-Pacific
Corporation real property, consisting of 2 .6 acres , generally
located in the Adams-Newland area, and more specifically de-
scribed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for the sum of Twenty
Three Thousand Sixty-Two and no/100ths, , Dollars ( $23 ,062 .00)
2 . That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to exe-
cute a contract by and between the city and Standard-Pacific
Corporation to acquire said 2 .6 acres to be used for community
