The City clerk presented a transmittal from the City Administrator of a communication from the
Director of Recreation, Perks and Hwmen gervicea, nhiab recommends that Council apply esniasnt
domain proceedings on the nine wail lots at the = tamner of Lynn and Peares Streets in Sun-
set Heights owned by Mr. sad Mrs. Praneis Gallo.
On motion by Shenkawn, second Coam. Council approved the racom eadatioa of staff to adjust
the boundary of the Sunset Heights neighborhood park site by excluding the previously approved
1.75 acres of small lots in Tract #184, 9 late (130-136, #155, and #156) is Tract #145 and
acquiring, by eminent domain if necessary, the remsining 9 property parcole (32 tots or .92
acres) and the Evelyn hiller parcels (1 acre) north and adjacent to Pratt 0195. The motion
was passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bartlett, Pattinsoo, Coen, iShsnksan, Winder
NOES: Siebert
ABSENT: Gibbs
On motion by Coen, second Pattinson, Council approved the recommendation of staff to purchase
16 lots from 11 property owaers within the area designated se s neighborhood park in Sunset
Heights, Huntington Beach, for the sue of $25,506 (19,9220 sq. ft.). The motion tarried by
the following vote:
