do hereby GRANT to the CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, a municipal corporation, a perpetual easement
for an underground water main under
and across all that real property in the CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
In the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and being a
portion of Lot 3, of Block 13, of Tract Number 86, as shown on a map filed in Book
10, of Miscellaneous Maps at Pages"35 and 36, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County, being more particularly described as follows:
Parcel 1: A strip of land, 10.00 feet in width, the centerline of said strip
being parallel with 37.80 feet south from the, north line of said
Lot 3. r1he sidelines of said strip to be prolonged or shortened
so as to terminate on east and-west line of said Lot 3.
Parcel 2: A_strip`of land, 10.00 feet in width, the centerline of said strip is des-
cribed as follows: beginning at the intersection: of the centerline of
said Parcel 1, and the east line of said Lot 3, thence west 129.75 feet
along said centerline of Parcel 1, to the true point of.beginning; thence
' at a right angle to,.said centerline of Parcel 1, north.18.90 feet.
No rights of surface entry are granted except for construction, repair and maintenance. .
The Grantee shall maintain and repair the water main at it's sole cost and expense.
After any surface. entry, the Grantee, at. it's sole cost and expense; shall restore the
property to the condition existing prior to the entry.
See Exhibits "A" and "B", attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.

AFFIDAVIT.
I, Alfred E. Mann, General Partner of Huntington Beach Gardens, the
limited partnership executing the Easement Deed to which this Exhibit
is attached, do hereby declare and affirm the following:
(1) The signature affixed to this Easement Deed and its exhibits is
my own as authorized signature of the within partnership;
(2) Prior to my .execution of this Easement Deed the following corrections/
additions were made to this document:
(a) Pre-printed language was deleted from the body of the deed as
follows: ". . .and right of way. ." and ". .purposes in, on, over. ."
(b) The following language was added with a typewriter other that
that which prepared the document originally: ". .an underground. ."
and "No rights of surface entry are granted except for construction
repair and maintenance. The Grantee shall maintain and repair
the water main at it's sole cost and expense. After any surface
entry, the Grantee, at it's sole cost and expense, shall restore
the property to the condition existing prior to the entry.
