Statement of Issue: The Redevelopment Agency completed public improvement projects on several downtown and Civic Center parcels which need to be transferred to the City. The Redevelopment Agency is requesting payment for the acquisition and public improvements costs and may use this program income to repay Agency debt. Additionally, three Emerald Cove parcels need to be transferred to the Redevelopment Agency from the City. Per California Health and Safety Code 33433, the Agency is required to hold a public hearing when disposing of property acquired with tax increment. Recommended Agency Actions: 1. Hold the Public Hearing 2. Approve Agency Resolution q#Z and City Resolution 460 to transfer the Public walk-through, AP #024-147-33, to the City for the acquisition and public improvement costs of $306,000.83 crediting the program income to the Main- Pier Project Area. 3. Approve Agency Resolution $ and City Resolution _ to transfer from the Agency to the City of Huntington Beach the Civic Center Parking Lot parcels, AP #023-041-06 and AP #013-041-04 (a portion) for the acquisition and public improvement costs of $765,421 with the program income credited to Yorktown Lake Project Area. 4.
