Hi Lili,
The county rejected the Water Easement Recordation due to out of date notarial wording on the Deed for The Frank M.
and Gertrude R. Doyle Foundation, Inc. It was explained to me that the incorrect wording will cause future deeds
notarized in California to be rejected as well.The County recommends that the Easement Deed template used by PW be
updated. I have attached a copy of the California acknowledgement that is currently in use.
In order to make the necessary correction and successfully record the Doyle Deed, please request that they have the
document notarized again. For this particular Deed, a new Easement Deed does not need to be created,just have them
use the attached acknowledgement and we can then attach it to Deed that was originally signed and notarized (per the
County).
I will bring the Deed down to you in a few minutes. Please let me know if you have any questions.
