by Trustees Manning seconded by Trustee Andrews were accepted-
and ordered placed on file .

Minutes . Minutes of previous meetings read and approved. -
Bond of Surety Pond of C. R . Sumner in the sum of $500.00 - li �
Engineer American Surety Co . was presented and on Motion by Trustee-
approved. Drew seconded by Trustee Chapin was approved . '
Lawtons .Application of L. A. Lawton for Pool Room license was ih
applicat ion presented and it was moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trus—
granted. tee Chapin that the License be granted . Carried.
Manning Trustee Manning made report on cost of installing urin
reports on als , five porcelain units of the stall type cost $700.00
Urinals . Tile of the same capacity would cost $400.00; there was
considerable discussion but no action. �.

Mr. Peggs . Mr. Beggs of the Safe Cabinet Co . presented a talk. .

H.F.Gibbs , H. F . Gibbs stated that he had taken out. a permit to
presents erect a residence an Tenth Street in Block 910 and after ,
complaint securing the permit found that the So . �Cal . Edison Co . would
Electric not serve him with Electricity unless he would pay $170 .
Company for erection of line , that there was but one ,
pole to be
refuse to erected and the Company would have to purchase a half int-

of Gas Consumed and material used on Street Lighting,, that {
120.55 be transferred from the General Fund to the Gas Vapt r 'I
in payment for gas consumed at the City Hall , that $75 .92
be transferred from the Gas System Fund to the Gas Dept in 1
payment for material used in extensions and that $3 .60 be
transferred from the Music & Promotion Fund to the Gas Dept . ? I.
in payment for material used at Camp Ground. 'Carried . ,

Advertise for Moved by Trustee Chapin seconded by Trustee Manning
bids . that the Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for a
Reconsidered Ford Runabout or its equivalent for the Gas System. - l
A roll call was demanded and was as follows: 1

Noes , Trustees Andrevo and Drew ,
Absent None . Motion Carried.
Cost of Supt . of Gas System was instructed to look into cost �I
Trailers , of Trailers to report to Board.-
To Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Manning moved to
reconsider. reconsider the motion instructing the Clerk to advertise l
for bids on a Ford Runabout or equivalent .
Motion carried , Trustee Chapin voting "No ."

St .Supt .t o Supt . of Streets made a verbal report of work that
secure was needed on streets and it was moved by Trustee Drew sec-
quotat ions onded by Trustee Manning that the Supt of Streets be instruct
on Oil . ►-ed to get quotations on a load of Road Oil delivered at
Huntington Beach. Carried,
Demands Allowed . Demands having been approved by the Finance Committee
Gen . 1 ,195.19 it was moved that they be allowed , motion was made by Trus--
Sal . 457 .98 tee Manning seconded by Trustee Drew , was put and Carried.
