Trustees present , Vavra, Andrews , Manning, Chapin . and Drew. None absent . , Opening bids . This being the date set for the opening of bids on Lat eral the Sewer Lateral parallel to and between Huntington and Sewer bet . California Avenues the following bids having been recid Huntington by the Clerk they were opened and read aloud as follows : & C. Nikcevich , accompanied by Certified Check ;45U.0O California, 8 inch Sewer 1 .52 per foot . Avenues . Manholes ' 115.00 each. Flush Tank, 145 .00 each. Award John Sutalo, accompanied by Kidders Bond signed by deferred J. H. '9u lard & E. A. VanHorn, 50.00 8 inch Sewer , 1 .50 per foot . - Investigating Manholes , 40.00 each. Surat lea . Carried. Engineer Also Moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Andreews Investigate . that the City Engineer be instructed to look. up sureties , . on 'fonds of the two lowest bidders . Carried.. Recorder and Building 'Irispector and it was moved by Trus— t ee Chapin seconded by Trustee Manning that the reports be accepted and placed on file . Carried . Talbert & Co for one Ford Delivery Roadster with starter , at price named in bid., viz .�674.90 within 30 be accepted providing , however , that 'delivery can be bade days . within 30 days .
