Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach was called to order at 8 oclock PeAl. Trustees present, Manning,Andrews, Onson & Obarr. { Roll call. Absent, Drew. Minutes Minutes of May meeting read and approved* approved. � Officers Reports of the various officers presented and read reports and it was moved by Trustee Andrews seconded by Trustee filed. Onson that they be accepted and placed on file, Carried. Onson on President Manning appointed Trustee Onson to act on i Fin.Com. Finance Committee temporarily on account absence .of Trus- pro tem. tee Drew. Bond of Bond of the American Surety Co. in the amount of $500. St.Supt. Imr the Superintendent o'f Streets was presented for approval approved. and it was moved by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Onson j that the bond be approved. Carried. Mrs. Black. The salary of Airs. Black who attends to the ladies salary comfort Station under Pier was brought up for discussion increased. and it was moved by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Andrews that her salary be raised from $20. to $30. per month, a raise df $10. Carried. Ord. to And It was moved by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee increase Andrews that the City Attorney be .instructed to drag up ang Attorney Ordinance increasing the City Attorneys salary from $50.00 Gr dered. tp $75o an increase of $25. Carried. Concerts to Moved by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Andrews be given by that contract be entered into with the Ho B. Amusement Co. H. B. Band.. to furnish music in accordance with the offer submitted and a program be arranged by Commnittee to be appointed by the President of the Board. Carried. Program President Manning appointed Trustees Obarr and Onson Committee. as Committee to arrange program for Band Concerts. Ocean Ave. Proposition coming from Supervisor Talbert in regard to to be planed. Coast Road between here and Seal Beach, that the dity put that part of the road lying inside of the City Limits in condition the county to put on men and teams to fix- the rest of it and it was moved by Trustee Onson that the Street Supt. be instructed to plane Ocean Ave. from 23rd St. to the City Limits. Carried. Ord.#207 Ordinance No. 207 being an ordinance regulating the Parking. Parking of Vehicles on certain streets and vacant spaces 1' in the city of Huntington Beach was read for first time. Ord-4203. Ordinance No. 209 being an ordinance fixing the salary Atty. Salary . of the City Attorney was read for first time. Fir st Safes City Clerk reported having received an offer of a Safe Offered. from the So. Cal . Safe Co. the safe being 561/2 x 29 3/4 and 19 5/8 deep the price being $379.60 and allow the city $154. 60 for the two older safes making the new safe $225. and in combination with our present largest one would give us more room at a smaller price than any other offer we have received. Mr. Beggs of the Safe Cabinet Co. advised the Trustees that the safe offered was not Fire Proof. Demands Moved by Trustee Andrews seconded by Trustee Onson that Allowed. all Demands approved by The Finance Committee be allowed. Carried. Demands as follows: Warner, C. W. $5*00; Geo. A.
