Bond election bonds in the stun of$125,000.00 for the acquisition of
authorizeda 450 feet of the Ocean Front as offered by the Huntington
i Beach Company and the erection of an Assembly Hall thereon.

! Restricted District Moved by Trustee Obarr, seconded by Trustee Drew that
to be changed. the City Attorney be instructed. to `draw up an ordinance
changing the North-easterly boundary of the restricted
district from Wesley Avenue to Palm Avenue 'but that no Oil
Well should be drilled within 250 feet of the Grammar School
building. President Manning called for an Aye and No. vote
which was as follows:

Regular. 20th, 1920, and was called to order at 7.30 P. M.
Roll Gallo Trustees present, Manning Onson Obarr Drew Andrews. .
Absent None.

by Obarr.

Standard Oil Co presented grade sheet, Plan and Propile
S060coo of their proposed sewer to their camp North-west of 23rd
Sew®rro Street and it was moved by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee
Drew that permission be granted to the Standard Oil Co. to
construct the proposed sewer. Carried.
HuntingtonRequest of the Huntington Central Oil Co. to place ;
Central 011 Co.polex on each side of Main Street between WesleyvAve. and !
! Light Wires, Springfield St. and carry light wires across Main Street
and it was moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee An-
drews that permission be granted. Carried.

$259000.00 Air. Vavra as dhairman of a committee from the Chamber
to Improve of Commerce reported that the C. of C. wished to go on record
Fair Groundso as favoring the proposed bond issue of $1250000.00 for the
purchase and improvement of Ocean Front and recommended an
issue of $25#000.00 for the improvement of Grammar School
Park for a Fair Ground.
Election to Moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Obarr that
be called* the City Attorney be instructed to add another issue to the
previously instructed call for an election providing an
issueance of $25,000.00 for Improving Grammar School Park
for Fair purposes. Carried.
