Trustees present, Manning, Obarr, Onson,Pndrews & Drew. Absent None. , Request for Request from Ida Lyness and Florence Walton for permission permit for to operate Refreshment Stand Corner 14th & Main Sts Refreshment Motion by Trustee Andrews seconded by Trustee Onson, Stand. Temporary permit be granted, Carried. Request for Request from J. B. Hawthorne for permission to erect a permit to erect stand on beach East of Pier near Shooting Gallery. Stand on beach. Motion by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Drew Temporary permit be granted. Carried. tt Ord.#217 Ordinance No. 217, being an ordinance regulating the Air itdopted. Ord. #218 Ordinance No. 218 being an ordinance amending License Adopted. So.Counties Request from the Southern Counties Gas Co. for permission Gas Co. to to connect with their main in the ' City Limits to supply Union supply Gas to the Union Oil Co. outside of the City Oil Co. Limits. and it was moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Obarr that such permit be granted with the proviso that such service does not interfere with quantity of gas required by the City for domestic use. Carried. Robt.Wright To request from Mr. Wright for lease of Grammar School Bungalets on Park as presented to the Board at its meeting od G. S. Park. June 13th, a rental of $8.00 per year for each tent i or bungalet, the Camp or City to be run in a sanitary manner and under rules approved by the Board, it was moved by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Onson that permit be granted to erect bungalets under terms j xN99mskyd.proposed. - Carried. Carried. Band In regard to the proposition for the Band Concerts it was Concerts. moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Andrews that $1250. be appropriated from the Music & Promo- tion Fund for Band Concerts and that Trustee Obarr be appointed as a Committee of One to arrange with Band Master. Carried. Copyist for City Clerk advised that it would be necessary for him to City Clerk, employ a copyist to help in getting out the Assessment Roll and it was moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Obarr that he be granted permission to employ such copyist. Carried. Attorney to City Attorney advised that there were so many applications have blanks for permits to run pipe lines in alleys and across printed, sheets that the City should have forms printed for such applications, which blanks could be charged for and it was moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Obarr that City Attorney be empowered to have such blanks printed. Chairman of the Board appoint a committee of three to in regard to confer with the Huntington Beach Company in regard to restrictions on the removal of All restrictions as to the use the Parks.
