Regular. Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to
order at 8 ocloek.
Roll call. Trustees present Lanning, 'Obarr, Ohson, Andrews & Drew,

Officers reports. Reports of Treasurer, Clerk, Recorder, Gas Dept. Build-

Oil Cos want City Engr. reported that some of Oil Companies were ask-

Attorney and on motion by Trustee and it was moved by Trustee
Obarr seconded by Trustee Andrews that the Resolution be adop-
ted and it was passed and adopted by the following vote:

Noes, None. Absent Hone.
Auto fines to The City Attorney advised that he was informed by the

Ordinance No. 224 being an ordinance providing for the
Oil Well License. collection of a License Tax on all Oil Wells drilling
within the City Limits was read for first time.
Treasurer. Moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Onson that the

Fair. Mr. Jos . Vavra appeared for the County Fair Cotrmiittee and
Committee to have asked that the Fair Association be permitted the use

Orange Avenue 5th to 6th Streets during time of Fair &
it was Moved by Trustee Drew seconded by Trustee Obarr
that the streets sipecified be abandoned to the Fair
Committee for the duration of the Fair. Carried.
Tax Rate. This being the date fixed by Ordinance for the fixing of
Resolution fixing the Tax Rate of the City for the fiscal year that matter
rate for 1921-22, was brought up ; a communication was read from the Libra-
ry Trustees asking that the Library Fund be given
$9,350.00 for the year and from the Clerk stating that
the Clerks , 1-.ssessors and Tax Collectors Offices would ;.
cost $5, 000.00 for the year. After some discussion
Resolution No. 366 was read Fixing the Rate. The
Assessed valuation of Taxable property was found to be

$4, 512, 160.00 and that it would require for general. pur- -

��. (9 Library $7, 670. 67 and for Interest and Retirement of

(h cents on each One hundred dollars of assessed valuation
would produce this amount, the rate to be segregated as i

General Fund. 50 cents. Salary Fund 25 cents.
Street Fund. 25 cents, Music & Pro.Fund. 15 cents .
