1922 and was called to order at 8 oclock.
Roll call. Trustees all present.
Edw.F.Wayrc°d asks Application of Edward F. Ward for permit to open and con-
permit for Pool duct a Pool Room with 7 tables, (1 English Billiards, 1
Room9221 Malign. Billiard and 5 Pool Tables) Soft Drinks, Cigars, Cigarettes
Tobaccoes and- Candies in connection at 221 Main Street
was presented.

Am.Legion to have Mr. Elmslie of the Jos. Rodman Post, Am. Legion presented
Street Carnival. written request for License to hold a Street Carnival
4th July week, during Fourth of July weep and on motion 'by Trustee Mack-
Ocean avenue. lin seconded by Trustee Onson request was granted, amount
of License fee to be donated and the American Legion allowed
j� the use of Ocean Avenue East of Main Street for July 1st,
3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and Sth under the supervision of
the Street Superintendent and Police Department.
Approves bond City Attorney reported that he had received a Telephonic
proceedings, conmiunication from G. G. Blymyer that the bond proceedings
Wants bonds had passed the preliminary examination and requested that
prnntedo bonds be printed for examination and delivery sons as pos-
s1ble.
H.BoXews 0ecures Huntington Beach News submitted a bid for the printing of
bond printing bonds and on motion by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee
job. Macklin the printing of bands was let to the H. B. Dews
for $236.50.
Pao.Ell,Shelter Asst. Engr. Gates reported on matter of shelter station at
not sastief°aactory. the 17th Street stop of the Pao. El . Ry. Co . and had Blue
Prints of the shelters erected by that company, that which
they erect for $175.00 for which the city was to pay $87.50
Engineer to get proved to be entirely unsuitable and it was moved by Trustee
cost of suitable Mackiiu seconded by Trnatee Obarr that Asst Engr. get cost
shelter. of suitable shelter to be erected on City' s right-of-way.
