Roll casll, Trustees present without exception. Plans of Boat R. Griffin, Boatman from Long Beach presented plans of Landing. boat landing at Santa Monica and recommended the same plan for use here. No action. (The plan consists of a row of Bumper piling,70 ft long, of 4 groups of 3 piles and 4 single piles, one single pile between each of the end groupe and 2 between the 2 center groupes, this row is placed 7'3" easterly from the easterly edge of pier deck, the piles tied together with 3 x 12 planking bolted to the piles with 3/4" bolts; and a hin ed gangway between the row of bumper piling and the pier. Eisner of Walker & Mr. Eisner of Walker& Eisner presented outline of Contract Eisner presents . of employment as Architect for construction, of City Hall outline of contract.- and Auditorium, to be re-writen by City Attorney. Accountant gives Representative of W. K. Mitchell & Co. John Whitfield appeared in regard to the grade of alley in Block 107 which has never been established agreed if city would establish grade he would pay half of cost of grad- ing it down and it was moved by Trustee Macklin seconded liy Trustee Onson that Asst City , gr. establish grade and grade down the part that is tao high and assess one-half of the cost to Mr. Whitfield.' Racing Machines to Chief of Police asked for an Ordinance prohibiting racing be prohibited on machines on beach and it was moved by Trustee Macklin beach. Ordinance seconded by Trustee Obarr that City Attorney be instructed x to be drawn, to draw up an ordinance prohibiting motor-vehicles from � beach within City Limits except by special permit from the Chief of Police.
