Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order at S oclock P. M. pursuant to adjournment of duly 3rd, 1922. Roll call. Trustees present Drew, Macklin, Onson, Obarr, Andrews. Absent None. Minutes approved'.. Minutes of dhne meetings read and approved. I Reports accepted. Reports of Inspector, Clerk, Treasurer, Recorder, and Gas Department were presented and read and on motion by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Macklin were accepted.' and ordered placed on file. $165.75 to be Biil of Street Department against Gas Department for repairs transferred to streets, $165.75 was ordered transferred on motion by Gas Dept.. to Street. Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Andrews. Eader & Patton Communication from Libreay Trustees announcing the expiring . appointed, on of the terms of Trustees O'Brien and Eader and reco7,mend-- ! Carried. 7.R.Wr°ight to Mr. IV. R. Wright made application for the job of Auditing audit books, the City Books and made a price of $15.00 per day or $600,00 for the job and it was moved by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Onson that Mr. Wright be employed to perform the work at $15.00 per day. Carried. Tr. 306 Map Map of Tract #306 being a part of the Copeland lease was approved. presented for approval and it was approved on motion by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Andrews. Ord. 241 adkpted. I Ord #242 adopted* Ordinance No. 242 unending Ordinance No. 224 relative to Oil Well Licenses was read to the Board and on motion by Trustee Andrews seconded by Trustee Onson was -passed and adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Macklin, Onson, Obarr, Andrews, Noes, Trustee Drew, Absent None. 11 Ord #243 First Ordinance No. 243 Calling a special election for 'the purpose readipg. of submitting to the electors of the city the proposition of adopting the initiative ordinance submitted by petition removing the restrictions from certain portions of the city" was read for the first time. i Attorney presents City Attorney presented Qontract with the Architect for E Architects Contract construction of City Hall and Assembly Hall for approval { approved. of the Board and it was moved by Trustee Obarr seconded. by Trustee Onson that the contract be approved and the President of the Board be authorized to sign the dame in behalf of the city. Carried. Weed cleaning. Street Supt. called the attention of the Board to Ordinance No.48 in which it ,is given as .the duty of�the Street Supt. to have weeds cleaned .from property in town "and charged to owners, there was no action as It was shown that the ordinance was:inoperative. Cleaning weeds The 'Street Supt was instructed to put notice in newspaper ad from Lots. Motion Picture house calling attention to the Ordinance � in regard to cleaning weeds from lots, on motion by Trus- tee Macklin seconded by Trustee Onson. Street light Moved by Trustee Macklin seconded by Trustee Onson that an 2nd & Walnut. Electric Street light be placed at corner of 2nd and Wal- nut . Carried. Roll call, Trustees all present with the exception of Trustee Obarr. i7e. iRaliling along Trustee -ns©n advised thtat the sand had washed away from I bulkhead on Main Bullhead under Wharf and that the city should put a St. pief° R/19. railing along- top to prevent accident and made a motion W which was seconded by Trustee Macklin that the Street Supt be instructed to place a 2" Pipe railing from the SlyX. Corner -of the dance pavilion southeasterly to the end of the bulkhead. Carried. Hearing on Imp.
