Macklin on On account of absence of Trustee Obarr,Trustee Macklin x Finance Como was appointed to serve temporarily. Plumbers Bond On motion of Trustee Onson,seconded by Trustee Andrews L.E.Worthy the bond of L.E.Worthy,Plumber was approved. Library Report Report of the City Librarian for the month of July was read and approved on motion of Trustee Macklin, seconded by Trustee Onson. Atty.to proceed On motion by Trustee Onson,seconded by Trustee Andrews, to recover Band the City Attorney was instructed to start proceedings instrument to recover a Tuba horn,property of the City,now in the hands of Earl Neilson whoclaims ownership of the instrument. Noes: None Absent:Obarr Second Reading Ordinance #248 regulating operation of motor driven Ordinance#248 vehicles upon the beach within the City limits was Adopted given second reading and adopted by the following vote; Ayes: Onsori,Macklin;Andrews,Drew. Noes: None Absent:ObE�rr To pave On motion of Trustee Onson seconded by Trustee Macklin, Ocean Ave. the City Attorney was instructed to prepare a Resolution of Intention to pave Ocean Avenue within the City lilpits, Address of Welcome Mr.Barlow came before the Board with a request that Pres. Labor Day Drew appoint a member of the Board to make an address of welcome at the Labor Day Celebration.Trustee Macklin was appointed and, accepted the honor. Aszt.Engineer It was moved by Trustee .Onson and seconded by Trustee to start prelim. Macklin that Asst.Engineer Gates be instructed to pro- survey on Ocean Ave. ceed with the preparation of plans,profiles,and levels necessary for paving Ocean Avenue ,complete within the City limits. Carried. Police Patrol Secyoof Chamber of' Commerce McCreery requested appointx kor ment of special police for the G.A.R. camp grounds G.A.R. Camp during the encampment ,and on motion of Trustee Macklin seconded by Trustee Andrews the Police.
