I , A special meeting called by President Drew for the pur- jl SPECIAL: pose of adopting resolution of award of bids on the City Hall and { Auditorium, also execution of such contracts as are ready for acceptance , also to consider and take action on application for granting fr chi e wa;� called to order at 7:30 pp m. ---fit ��CC �-- _ ADOPTING OF Resolution of Award #387 was read and adopted by the RESOLUTION vote as shown on the copy of resolution, which is included and #387: made part of the minutes of this meeting, and reads as follows: "RESOLUTION NO. 387 I A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, AWARDING CERTAIN CONTRACTS FOR TEE CONSTRUCTION, ERECTION AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC ASSEMBLY HAIL AND CITY HALL IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH. Y The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do resolve as follows: Whereas , heretofore , notice inviting sealed proposals or bids upon the following contracts has been duly and regularly K given, and ° Whereas, certain bids have been received by said Board of Trustees for doing the work specified in said notice and in the } plans and specifications referred to in said notice . ' Now, therefore , after receiving and considering all of the I J said bids and proposals, the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach, do hereby determine that the following named �( persons and corporations are the lowest responsible bidders for j said work above mentioned and described , and Be it further resolved by the" said Board of Trustees that all said bids except the following specifically mentioned bids be r0ected and that the following bids be accepted and that the contract for droing of the said work be awarded to the follow- ing bidders, at the following prices, respectively: I FOR THE BUILDING OF THE; MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM: Contract #4 A. covering general contract on said audi- torium to Clark Bros. , a co-partnership for the sum of twenty-one thousand one hundred and ninety-eight ($21,198.00) dollars. Contract #1 A. covering the plumbing and heating on said Municipal Auditorium to Ed Manning for the sum of one thousand four hundred and ninety-secen ($1,497.00) dollars. Contract #2 A. for doing the electrical work on said Municipal Auditorium to R. E. McIntosh for the sum of one thousand four hundred and fifty-three dollars and thirty-six($1453.36) -cents. FOR TEE BUILDING OF THE CITY HALL.
